Open positions
We are building the founding team of a new lab at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the Broad Institute. If you want to make personalized medicine the standard of care, we would like to meet you.
What we offer
- Direct access to some of the world's largest genomic and clinical datasets, including whole genome sequencing, proteomics, and multimodal EHR data across the Mass General Brigham system.
- An ecosystem spanning MGH, the MGB Heart and Vascular Institute, Harvard Medical School, and the Broad Institute, with daily interaction between computational scientists, clinicians, and experimental biologists.
- Collaborations with industry partners such as Google DeepMind and with global health institutions such as the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, home of the Global Burden of Disease study.
- Opportunities to lead first-author papers, write fellowship grants, and move projects from target discovery to clinical trial.
Positions
Postdoctoral fellows
PhD or MD (or both) with experience in statistical genetics, computational biology, machine learning, epidemiology, or clinical research. We are especially interested in candidates who want to work at the interface of AI and human genetics, or who want to translate omics findings into clinical trials and public health policy.
Graduate students
Master's and PhD students in Harvard and MIT programs are welcome to inquire about rotations and thesis projects.
Research assistants and data scientists
Bachelor's or master's level candidates with strong programming skills (Python or R) and an interest in genomics, machine learning, or clinical data. These roles are ideal for those planning to apply to PhD or MD programs.
Visiting scholars, clinical fellows, medical students, and research collaborators
We host visiting researchers and clinicians, and we welcome research collaborators who want to work with us on shared projects.
Send us a note

- Your CV, including publications and preprints.
- For postdoctoral applicants, the names of two or three references.
- For research assistant applicants, a link to code you have written, if available.
How we work
We believe that rigorous science and a supportive environment reinforce each other. We value reproducibility, open sharing of code and results, generous credit, and honest feedback. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive group.
